Ingredient Transparency
Everything in our candles, in plain English. No chemistry degree needed.
The wax
Soybeans. That’s the wax.
Every Chem Eco Luxe candle starts with soybean oil, hardened into a clean-burning wax. That single, natural material is the base of everything we pour — nothing synthetic, nothing petroleum-based.
100% soy wax
Soybean oil, solidified. Nothing synthetic in the base.
No paraffin, ever
Cheap candles are made from petroleum. Ours never are.
Nothing toxic
Free of every chemical Europe flags as hazardous and every substance on California’s Prop 65 list.
Gentle by test
Lab-tested: non-irritating to skin and eyes, non-allergenic.
Biodegradable
Whatever’s left breaks down naturally, back to the earth.
Cruelty-free
Never tested on animals — by us or anyone making it for us.
Fragrance oils
Scents, held to the same standard.
Every fragrance we pour is certified against the IFRA standards — the global safety rules of the fragrance industry — and approved for candle use at any concentration. First up, one of our Signature Collection scents.
Fleur Sombre
IFRA certified
Compliant with the latest International Fragrance Association standards — approved for candles at up to full strength. We blend in a fraction of that.
Allergens, disclosed
Like many fragrances and essential oils, it contains trace amounts of naturally occurring allergens. We list them so sensitive skin can decide.
What you actually smell
The lead molecules are linalool and citronellol — the same ones that give lavender and roses their scent. Nature’s chemistry, doing its job.
The full EU-listed allergens present in this fragrance: linalool, citronellol, hexyl cinnamic aldehyde, coumarin, hydroxycitronellal, geraniol, eugenol, isoeugenol, cinnamyl alcohol, citral and trace amounts of others. All occur naturally in plants and essential oils.
Chemistry, translated
One honest note: our soy is sourced non-GMO whenever possible. No wax supplier can honestly promise 100% — so we won’t either.
