Island Stillness

$16.00
  • The Vibe: Smooth, creamy, and grounding—designed for a well-deserved luxury reward after a busy day, housed in a calming buttercream shell.

  • Net Weight: 5.10 oz (144.6 g)

  • The Scent Story: Sit back, relax, and drift away to a warm, sunny beach edged by gentle waves. While typical coconut fragrances lean excessively sweet, this sophisticated composition instead highlights the exotic, woody notes of rich sandalwood and aromatic cedar. Creamy coconut milk and warm benzoin offer an elegant opening, while amyris and sweet tonka bean deliver a grounded, luxurious escape that feels both tropical and deeply meditative.

  • The Fragrance Architecture:

    • Notes: Santal, Coconut, Cedar, and Amyris

  • The Clean Chemistry:

    • Hand-poured with sustainable Eco-Soy Wax and an optimized clean-burning wick to ensure an exceptionally clean, slow, and soot-free burn.

    • Infused with natural, premium essential oils, including grounded cedarwood, orange peel, and earthy patchouli.

    • Formulated strictly under non-toxic safety standards, 100% free from phthalates, and requires no California Prop 65 warning labels.

  • Molecular Note: Balanced with creamy lactonic notes and grounding santalols to quiet the amygdala, inducing a state of "Island Stillness," profound tranquility, and reward.

  • The Circular Design: The uniquely styled mini buttercream ceramic vessel is selected with deep intention. Once your candle has finished its lifecycle, easily clean away the soy lipids and reuse this gorgeous statement piece with its premium bamboo lid as a luxury cosmetic brush holder, a small planter, or an elegant vanity container.

Hand Poured Candles

Hand pouring allows for meticulous attention to every step of the candle making process, including precise measurement of fragrances, control of wax temperature, and careful placement of wicks.

Soy Wax Candles

Soy wax burns cleaner and produces significantly less black soot. Being plant based, soy wax burns without releasing harmful volatile organic compounds, such as benzene and toluene, which are often associated with paraffin candles.

Clean and Safe Fragrances

The fragrances used in the candles have been carefully selected to ensure they are free from organic toxins, acute toxins, carcinogenic, mutagenic, or reprotoxic (CMR) substances, phthalates, and any ingredients listed under California's Proposition 65.

How to Remove Candle Wax from a Glass Jar

The Freezer Method (Easiest for Most Soy Waxes)
  1. Place the glass candle jar in the freezer for a few hours or overnight. The cold temperature will cause the wax to shrink and harden, pulling away from the sides of the glass.
  2. Remove the jar from the freezer. The wax disc should come out easily. If it doesn't, gently tap the bottom of the jar on a protected surface or use a dull knife to carefully pry it out. It may break into pieces.
  3. Remove the wick tab. The metal wick tab at the bottom may still be stuck. You can usually remove it with a butter knife or by soaking the bottom in hot water to loosen the adhesive.
  4. Wash the jar with hot, soapy water to remove any wax or soot residue. A bottle brush can be helpful. Rinse well and dry.
The Hot Water Method (Ideal for Stubborn Areas)
  1. Remove as much of the solid wax as possible using a spoon or a blunt knife.
  2. Place the jar on a heat-resistant surface, such as a trivet or folded towel.
  3. Pour very hot (but not boiling) water into the jar, leaving some space at the top. The heat will melt the remaining wax, causing it to float to the surface.
  4. Allow the water to cool completely. The wax will solidify, forming a disc on top of the water. Remove this wax disc and discard it.
  5. Carefully pour out the water (do not pour it down the drain if wax remains). Remove the wick tab. Wash the jar thoroughly with hot, soapy water.
